cheap, reliable but hard to find mags for it from what I hear

Trap shooting friend bought one. He uses it for sporting clays and loves it. They are hard to find in 12 gauge or 20 right now. Everyone who wants one is waiting for new shipments to come in...

I just saw an ad today for a drum mag(40 rd) that attaches to this. I thought those were banned along with the Street Sweepers.

I think it was for $400+ or so.(just for the drum)...suppose you already knew that though.

I guess I don't see hwo it is any better than a more common shotgun like the 870 or 590.

It IS a semi-auto but where is this actually...worth it?

I would have bought one back when they were CHEAP($300 or so) but not now when you can buy an 870 with 7 shot tube for less than $350...

And on top of the original price you have to buy mags....and the AK platform sucks for quick mag changes,at least for me.

The nice thing about a pump is one can always top off the magazine. The Saiga's look nice, but why, when American pumps are so reliable, and inexpensive, as noted by another poster.

From what I hear the high cap mags not so reliable, just one more thing to buy and go wrong.

I'd rather have an 7 shot pump.
